Interstate State Park

Interstate State Park
April 24-26

17e
22 Electrical sites
dump station in park

Interstate is location along the Croix River just out side of Taylors Falls, Minnesota.  Right before the bridge heading to Wisconsin in Taylors Fall is the entrance to the boat landing and potholes.  There are a number of nice potholes to walk up to and pick in at and overlooks of the water below.

The Railroad trail has a number of stairs with no rails on the stairs to help you up.  To find this trail head across the road from the main park entrance.

Each time you think you are at the top of the stair there ends up being more stairs to climb.
The Sandstone Bluffs states there are over 200 stairs but the Railway trail does not a posted sign stating how many stairs you will climb.  I would say it is close to over 200.

We also hiking along the River trail leaving from the land parking lot.  We hiked to the the overlook next to the hwy 8.  And later we hiked from the camp ground to the first overlook near the hwy 8.

Dump station is on the left side just as you pass the ranger station.  Clean water can be found there.  Our site was 17e which all of the site are mostly open for all to see what your fellow campers are up to.

Life is good, when camping
